So go out and tell the world where you are and how I have taken you until now. Not all is clear and all assuring generally speaking, it is usually the opposite. I was almost certain that my going on “leave without pay” would entitle me to some benefits even minimally. Almost, but that answer officially came in that I missed the mark by that same amount of time that I overgave the leave notice. I gave notice of what I thought was 3 months to be nice (and get for it nothing in return) to my employees (30 days it seems is the law). It was in fact 138 days, the rule changing entitlement was made 81 later. But how was I to know what would be and after “hearing” this was anything that could stop me? So officially out of doing work and not knowing what my next step is to be I hang on dearly to that faith and pray not for myself but for that the faith in God by all shall preside upon us all and that his light and path should be the one we all walk upon.

  When I started blogging in 2004 I started with the question of how to start” how-to-start A while has passed since then and so has my personal development. Today I start being officially unemployed as I have voluntarily taken an unpaid vacation so that I contemplate living with no human as my employer. I am starting, and even now that one question jumps in to find its place. That place of organization within the chaos of existence. The supposed answer of “how to start”. God has truly worked on me over the years and has shown me time and time again that he is the organization of this chaotic world, he is the one that “Now the earth was without shape and empty, and darkness was over the surface of the watery deep, but the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the water. God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light” So as God as my light I will be here with him to allow him to be my guide. “So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.”

  Lots of events have been happening around our children and the connection with them. We have had do course of disconnection and issues around the kids having a place together with us. I have attempted to show optimism on the subject. As I believe in free will and the yearning for calmness will in the long run bring that connection that the children need to be a healthy and long term one.

  An eye opening trip

  Yesterday I was invited to a religious family event. The affair while not from a distance point of view, faraway. Yet light years away both in the cultural and in the physical location it was to take place. At first I just wasn’t sure I would attend. Family is nice, but…  Added was voices of uncomfortableness as the car was possibly going with me. Was the the effort and expenses worth it? Attempting to find “a way to make everyone happy” I asked if a ride there and back was available for myself. And lo and behold there was, but… I knew that some of the participants would be needing ride back, and if I take the only space, who will help them. With all this in mind I announced that I will be going and taking a empty car, arranged that the car would be to my disposal and … The trip there was pleasant generally speaking conversation with a hitchhiker was nice. The hills were alive and spring was in its full presence. Going through towns which I never had passed before was a wee bit tight.  Being surrounded by people who I don’t normally hang out with was a bit unnerving (and I haven’t gotten to the event yet). Arriving as for some reason exactly on time (a habit I find hard to kick) I waited and chatted patiently until all the excuses were finished and the event began (only a hour late, when will I learn…) In general I have a positive attitude toward family events and handle the religiosity with ease. This time I felt more so how a event is being stolen from that warmth of a family affair and slaughtered for the cold and heartless religion. The rest went fine with more pleasant conversation. Even the way back (yes the car was full) went okay, succeeding in “making everyone happy”  even when no longer being expected to.

  סיימתי לשוחח עם בני הגדול ואת התחושתי לא היתה פשוטה. הנער לקח מאמו מהתכונות הגרועות. החיים ללא ביקורת. הוא מספר לי איך הוא עסוק בשעות הפנאי שלו עם הכתיבה. הרב צבי יהודה קוק אמר כי הם צריכים להתאמן בכתיבה. ובכן אמרתי, האם אתה נותן כתיבתך לאחר לביקורת? כדי לבדוק, דקדוק, צורה של תוכן, כתיבה? והתשובה שלילית. הוא אומר לי שהוא פשוט קורא אותם שוב ולראות אם זה נעים עבור עצמו, זה הכול.

  Life free of criticism

  I finished conversing with my eldest son and my the feeling is not simple. The boy took on his mother’s worst attribute. Life without criticism. He tells me how he is keeping busy in his spare time with writing. Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Kook said that they need and practice writing. Well I said, Do you give your writing to another for criticism. to review grammar, form of writing, content? And the answer is negative. he tells me that he just reads them again and see if it’s pleasant for himself, that’s all. Live without criticism is a terrible thing. Years i attempted educating him for at least some real self-criticism, and it did not work so much. What do you plan to do on vacation I ask him. Many things he responds. Maybe make a list of your many things and how you expect a daily schedule. Do it for yourself and see how your plans develop and were you are with them. Juno what did you think? No way. Vacation ends and his plans …

  Job's so relevant today.

  Once again, I find myself in front of the welfare officer, who compiles a report for the judge responsible for determining the nature of my connection with my children in accordance with state laws. Historically, the process involved submitting a written declaration and handwritten approval from their mother to the court secretary at least 48 hours prior to the decision. This protocol was in place even on my son’s Bar Mitzvah, and regrettably, it’s not a humorous situation.

  What does God want

  God did not desire Abraham to actually sacrifice his beloved only son. Instead, God wanted Abraham to demonstrate a willingness to go against his natural instincts, thereby transcending human nature or, in other words, the self-controlled “I.” This willingness would lead to liberation from the constraints of human nature, allowing for the emergence of a liberated self or, in other words, a “Godly I.” Consequently, Abraham retained his innate kindness and ascended to become “Abraham the kind,” a vessel for the Divine Presence.

  בחלום אני ועוד אנשים מחוץ לקבר/מערה של יוחנן בן זכאי (ידעתי את זה מהשלט על הקבר) והוא סגור ואנחנו ועוד כמה חופרים עם מקלות לפתוח את הקבר. בזמן החפירה אני שם לב שזה הולך בקלות ומרגיש בעקבות זה שהעבודה נכונה. במקום עובר כמה גוים ויש מהאנשים שחפרו איתי שאמרו שמה ידבק  עלינו רע מי מה שאנחנו עושים (שחופרים הקבר ידבק עלינו איזה טומאה)  נשתמש בגוי כאמצעי שמשידבק יהיה אליהם ולא אלינו, וכך עשו.  ונפתח הפתח לקבר (נמאס) ויוצא אש  ויש כמה גופות כ-10 כולם באש והם צועקים אלי שאציל אותם מהשרפה. ואני עומד במקומי מול פתח הקבר ובפותח את התנ”ך כיס שלי לשאול את אלוהים מה מתרחש פה, ורואה המילה “באהבתך”. וכולם שהיו שם מפחודים ובורחים. וצעקי בכל כוחי לאלוהים שיכבה האש ויתן להם לנוח בגן עדן בשלום ואלוהים קיבל תפילתי והאש התכבה ופתח המערה נסגר.

  שבת אצלך

  הוזמנתי ע”י חברים דתיים לשבת בבית מלון מהיוקרתיים בארץ, סירבתי. אבל למה לא? שאלו. ואני אינני יכול להיות במוות שהם קוראים שבת. אבל מה את עושה בשבת מה השבת אצלך שאלו? והושבתי אני בשבת בשקט ובשלווה עם אלוהים ומשתדל לעשות כמה שפחות לצאת מהמצב הזה. ממש שיחת חרשים. חוץ מהעובדה שאני מכיר די הותר השבת שלהם, שבת מלא עשיה תפילות אוכל שינה והם עוד לא חשו טעם אמתי של שבת. לא, לא הטעם של חמין וכאילו. אלא שבת של שקט אלוהי. ואת זה אין אני מסוגל להפריד מנה לכל הכסף בעולם. ועוד אני אנטי דתי ?!! לך תסביר?

If you had checked and passed on time, your complaint would only be to yourself.”

  הביטוי מוכר ויש שאפילו מביאים מקורו מהזוהר (חיפשתי ולא מצאתי)
  בפירוש המקובל היא: אם משהוא נראה לא תקין בטח הוא לא תקין שהרי לכל דבר יש סיבה שגרמם.

  הביטוי איוולת ושופטת בלי כל הנתונים, הפירוש הטוב יותר היא שהרי ברור שלכל דבר יש סיבה. לכל תולדה (= תוצאה) יש אב.

  עדיף כלום

  אם אנו, כמו האמריקנים, הייתה טיפת שכל, היינו להפסיק לקנות דברים שיוצרו בסין, פקיסטן, הודו, וכו’ הכל תוצרת סין, וחצי דבר שנעשה בשאר העולם השלישי הוא זבל. לעזאזל, חצי מה שבא מסין הוא למעשה הקטלני. אבל, אנחנו ממשיכים לקנות. דהההה!

  זה יהיה הגיוני אם לא היינו המיתון הגרוע ביותר מאז השפל הגדול. לאף אחד אין כסף כמו שהם רגילים; שרובנו רק על ידי מקבל, אנשים לאבד את מקום עבודתם, ועוד הבחירה היא זבל בעולם השלישי או כלום.

  הבחירה היא זבל בעולם השלישי או כלום?!

  מצאתי כי במקרים מסוימים, את כלום הוא למעשה חלופה טובה יותר כאן. ולא לקנות חתיכת זבל זול כי אני בקושי יכול להרשות לעצמי עכשיו, אני עושה החלטה מודעת לדחות ופשוט לעשות בלי כמה חודשים או אולי אפילו לנצח. זה לא תמיד קל, אבל זה מביא תחושה יוצאת דופן של שלום בעת למצוא דרך להיות בסדר עם פחות.

  טעם המלך

  בבית המלך נהגו להכין מאכל מיוחד בארועים המיוחדים ביותר של המלך שקראו לו שדנרא’צם. אחרי שהמלך מת, עבדיו נשבעו לא להכין יותר את המאכל שדנרא’צם. אחרי שנים רבות כל עבד הלך לדרכו, כל אחד זכר זיכרון מיוחד מהמאכל שדנרא’צם מבית המלך וכך ספרו גם לילדיהם ונכדיהם. אבל אחרי הרבה זמן, דורות ומרחק מהתקופה המפוארת ההיא, כל אחד התרגל ודמיין לעצמו משהו מהמאכל ההוא. עד אחרי שנים ודורות לא היה אדם שהיה יכול לומר מזה בדיוק שדנרא’צם. יום אחד התברר שטבח המלך רשם את המתכון המדויק לשדנרא’צם והדבר התגלה והתפרסם. בעיה קטנה היה למתכון, שסימון הכמויות לא היה מובן ולא היה ברור כמות המרכבים לכל דבר. אילו שדרו במחוז שנהגו לאכול מתוק היו בטוחים שגם כך היה במאכל המלך ומדדו המתיקות בהתאם. ואילו שדרו במחוז שנהגו לאכול חמוץ היו בטוחים שגם כך היה במאכל המלך ומדדו החמוציות בהתאם. ואילו שדרו במחוז שנהגו לאכול חרף היו בטוחים שגם כך היה במאכל המלך ומדדו החריפות בהתאם. ואילו שדרו במחוז שנהגו לאכול מלוח היו בטוחים שגם כך היה במאכל המלך ומדדו המלח בהתאם. עד שלא יכלו אנשים להסכים מה היה הטעם וטיב המאכל. יותר ויותר היה נראה שהסכמה בניהם הייתה מקרבת המחוז שדרו מאז מיתת המלך ולא מקשר כל שהוא למאכל שדנרא’צם. ואפילו שבא אחד והראה והסביר בצורה יפה את סימני הכמויות והכין המאכל, לא הסכימו יתר שזה הטעם הנכון. כמעט כולם מספרים שהטעם שהם זוכרים יותר טוב. לא שהמאכל לא היה ראוי לבית המלך, הוא באמת היה ראוי. ולא שלא היה טעים כי הוא היה באמת טעים מאוד. אלה שזה לא היה מה שהם זכרו.

  Doing it right

  Once the process of evaluating the motivation behind what I want to do is complete, considering all the aspects like why and if, the outcome is a distilled and pure motivation. It’s at this juncture that I can confidently embark on the task, armed with the knowledge that, from all perspectives tested, it is the right thing to do. This doesn’t negate the need for ongoing self-evaluation and retesting, but it does signify that the time has come to initiate the action.
